Data protection declaration of TOOLS FOR LIFE foundation

Thank you for your interest in our foundation’s website. The protection of your personal data is of great importance to us. Therefore we would like to take this opportunity to inform you about our company’s data protection arrangements. As a matter of course, we observe the statutory stipulations of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Broadcast Media Act (TMG) as well as further legal data protection provisions.  

You can trust us with your personal data. It is encrypted using digital security systems and transferred to us. Our websites are protected by technical means from damage, destruction and unauthorised access. Even so, we must draw your attention to the fact that data transfer via the internet (e.g. e-mail communication) can involve security vulnerabilities. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee complete protection of the data from access by third parties.

Subject of the Data Protection
The subject of the data protection is personal data. Pursuant to Section 3, Sub-section 1 BDSG, this refers to individual details on personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, details of name, postal address, e-mail address or telephone number and, where applicable, also such user data as your IP address.

General Data Protection Notice

We also take internal company data protection very seriously. Our staff and the service providers commissioned by us have been obligated to maintain confidentiality and observe the statutory data protection provisions. Our staff are trained regularly in data protection.

Right to Information and Right of Revocation
At any time, you can obtain information on your data stored by us, free of charge, without having to give reasons. You can have the data collected by us blocked, corrected or deleted. Similarly, you can revoke the consent given to us for data collection and use, without having to give reasons. To do so, please use the contract address given in the legal notes.
